Founded in 2000, Coclico ("poppy flower" in French) is the creation of a French girl expatriated in the U.S. Sandra Canselier grew up in Brittany, France, where three generations of her family had been making shoes. It was only natural that the combination of her background and love for New York led her to start her own line and open her first store in Nolita, downtown New York.
