We are so excited to introduce Jane Hollinger to Umeboshi! Jane Hollinger has been working with metal for over 20 years. It all started in high school when she worked for a goldsmith and fell in love with the process of working with metals. She went on to graduate from the New York College of Art and Design at Alfred University with a B.F.A. in metal sculpture and video art.

The current collection of Jane Hollinger jewelry is a timeless, yet modern mix of solid metals including sterling silver, 14K and 18K gold. "We carefully recycle all our metals in our studio and we purchase all our raw metals through a company with integrity who never uses mined metals, only recycled."

Now that it stays light late into the evening, and it's warm and balmy even indoors, why stay inside? We like picnics and drinks with umbrellas in them, and outdoor concerts. Short on ideas? Bronsino, a line designed and constructed in Vancouver, has found itself a home at Umeboshi since Fall 2006. Every season we look forward to simple yet thoughtful designs by Denise Wilson. The Oviedo is no exception! Versatile, it can be worn with the strap long, or knotted as a shoulder bag. It has pockets for all those little things you wouldn't think of leaving the house without. Each handbag is constructed in buttery Italian leather, and lined with organic linen. Available in black, chocolate, and blue-grey.
